Dive further into the music and history of Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 “From the New World,” known as the New World Symphony—featuring a 2025 recording of your North Carolina Symphony, conducted by Music Director Carlos Miguel Prieto.
The lesson plan, slides, teacher guide, and student handouts were written and created by Lucíola Lewis (Orchestra Director) and Colin Richardson (History Teacher) from Green Hope High School in Wake County.
