Rebekah Daley has served as Principal Horn of the North Carolina Symphony since winning the position in 2012, a role she has cherished for over a decade. In addition to her work in North Carolina, she has performed as Guest Principal Horn with esteemed ensembles including the Auckland Symphony Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, the San Francisco Symphony, Canada’s National Arts Centre Orchestra, The Cleveland Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic.
A devoted chamber musician, Rebekah’s passion for small ensemble playing was first nurtured as a member of the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra (COYO) and later deepened during her summers as a student at the Marlboro Music Festival. Today, she shares that love as a faculty member at the Hidden Valley Festival of Winds, where she mentors the next generation of musicians.
