Violinist Maria Meyer earned her bachelor’s degree in music from the Cleveland Institute of Music, where she studied with Linda Cerone. She received her master’s degree in music from Rice University under the guidance of principal teacher Kenneth Goldsmith, with a focus on orchestral repertoire with Raphael Fliegel. She has been a member of the North Carolina Symphony since 2005.
