Yewon Ahn joined the North Carolina Symphony cello section in 2018, after two seasons and an eight-concert European tour with the Houston Symphony. She earned an artist diploma and professional studies certificate from the Colburn Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles, where she also performed in the Ziering-Conlon Initiative for Recovered Voices founded by James Conlon, Music Director of LA Opera. Her teaching experience includes the Meadowmount School of Music.
