Cellist David Meyer joined the North Carolina Symphony in 2013. After childhood musical training in Southern California with Rick Mooney, Eleonore Schoenfeld, Victor Sazer, and Nathaniel Rosen, he continued his cello studies with Lawrence Lesser in Boston. He holds degrees from University of Southern California Thornton School of Music and the New England Conservatory of Music.
