About the Concerts
For more than 75 years, the North Carolina Symphony’s Education Concerts have brought music to life for third through fifth graders across the state. Centered around the theme of “What Makes Music, Music?,” the one-hour concert explores fundamentals such as melody, rhythm, dynamics, tempo, and texture.
The 2024/25 Education Concert for grades 3-5 will be offered live and in person, as well as online for in-school or at-home learning. Reservations for in-person concerts at Meymandi Concert Hall will open on Monday, September 9. Information about virtual and livestream options will be available later in the fall.
