Enjoy an evening of art, music, and drinks at CAM Raleigh, featuring musicians of the North Carolina Symphony and guest vocalists Shara Nova (My Brightest Diamond), DM Stith, and Padma Newsome. You’ll hear an intimate performance of music by some of today’s best indy-classical composers—the ethereal song cycle Unremembered by Sarah Kirkland Snider; a bluegrass-inspired piece for voice and quartet by Pulitzer Prize-winner Caroline Shaw, who will sing her own work; and Gabriel Kahane’s vision of the North Carolina Symphony’s travels around the state.

Gabriel Kahane: "Hard Circus Road"
Caroline Shaw: By and By
Sarah Kirkland Snider: Unremembered

This concert features music which is also scheduled for performance by the North Carolina Symphony during SHIFT: A Festival of American Orchestras, hosted by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. and presented by the Kennedy Center and Washington Performing Arts.  For more information about the Symphony's participation in this event, please visit ncsymphony.org/SHIFT
